HōRA

The Italian word ora carries a dual meaning: it refers both to “hour” and “now”. Its Latin root, hōra, holds the same resonance: the very word we use to measure time can also bring us back into it.

In a world that constantly pulls attention outward, forward, and in multiple directions, this workshop creates a space to return to the immediacy of experience through the body, the senses, and the intelligence that emerges when mind and body are in dialogue.

From this place, something changes. HōRA is an invitation to explore that shift.

The approach combines movement and mindfulness, supported by insights from neuroscience, philosophy, and contemplative traditions.

Through guided practice, reflection, and facilitated exchange, participants explore and integrate these experiences in a way that feels both practical and meaningful.

HōRA is designed for communities and learning spaces, bringing people together to experience embodied practices that support presence, connection, and a more attuned way of living.

HōRA: The Workshop

Returning to the intelligence and intimacy of the present moment through movement, mindfulness, and shared presence.

At its core, HōRA invites a simple but powerful practice: learning to be here.

The present moment is always available.

Through movement, mindfulness, and guided exploration, HōRA invites us to rediscover its intelligence and the skill of living from it.

The approach is accessible, adaptable, and designed to meet participants where they are.

No prior experience is needed.

  • HōRA is an experiential workshop that combines movement, mindfulness, and guided reflection.

Participants are invited into a space of exploration where they can:

    • Move and reconnect with the body

    • Develop awareness through mindfulness practices

    • Explore new ways of responding through play and interaction

    • Reflect individually and share within the group

The work draws inspiration from research in performance psychology, evolutionary physiology, and behavioral neuroscience, integrating insights that stimulate both body and mind to discover new ways of learning through direct experience.

  • Through this practice, participants often experience:

    • A stronger connection with their body and its signals

    • Greater clarity of attention and presence

    • Tools to navigate stress with more awareness

    • More ease in how they relate to themselves and others

    • A renewed sense of curiosity, play, and exploration

Over time, this supports a greater capacity to pause, notice, and respond more skillfully in everyday life.

  • HōRA is open to individuals and communities who:

    • Are curious about personal growth and self-exploration

    • Want to reconnect with their body and senses

    • Are interested in movement, mindfulness, and learning through experience

    • Value connection, curiosity, and shared exploration

This is not a fitness or performance-based class. The focus is on awareness, exploration, and learning through experience.

This work is rooted in my ongoing practice since 2022, shaped through study, research, and learning within different communities and teachers.
